Sublimely beautiful, the North Cascades are one of my favorite places. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time hiking, camping, backpacking, and canoeing in these mountains, and researching and writing my book about North Cascades National Park added more layers of appreciation for this endlessly fascinating region.
